Bio

I am a designer located in the New York City metropolitain area. I have more than 20yrs of design experience. Spanning over two decades, I have been privilege to have been associated with various design projects: commercial, home, retail spaces and wedding visual design.
In my mid-teens, I was compelled from within to read interior design books and magazines. Later in my life I would spend time going to interior design workshops and trade shows. These events increased my passion as I had opportunity to put into practice all that I had read and viewed.  I was able to improve the homes and institutions of my colleagues and clients. Over the years I have continued my drive for excellence in this field. After a career change in the new millennium, I landed my first full time retail job with Footlocker/Champs Sports. It was there that I discovered a new but equal passion in Visual Merchandising. Executing displays, floor planning and window directions for campaign changes and store start ups is what I quickly became  known for.
After a couple of years, I then moved on to join the visual merchandising team at the world renown experts of organization The Container Store.  For more than several years, this retailer excelled my visual merchandising skills and career to a new level. With intense on hand training, I found my knowledge gaps of this industry quickly filled.  Over the last couple of years, I began helping small retailers in my community with their visual merchandising to help their bottom line.  I founded RonLouis DESIGNs to benefit clients seeking design solutions for their home, office and retial spaces. When a living and work space are free of clutter and it reflects the essence of beauty; the space brings on a mood of tranquility. My goal is to astonish my clients with design solutions to accommodate their lives and business.
